Ibalong is known as the epic of Bicol that showcases superheroes such as Handiong, Baltog, and Bantong among others. This festival depicting Bicol's early beginning as portrayed by the characters in the epic.
Ibalong is a feast that is celebrated every second week of October, and last for days in Legaspi City. People involved in their parade in the streets wearing masks and costumes to imitate the appearances of the heroes and the villains in the epic that made its way to the history of Bicol.
Activities such as trade fairs, art exhibitions, tours, beauty pageants and sport competitions are held. many join because of the big prizes that are waiting for the winners.
The place continue the joyful event up to the present. the Ibalong Festival aims to express warmth and goodwill to all people, and visitors and tourists are always encourage to celebrate with the Bicolanos.

Himoloan Festival in Oas, Albay
A place in Albay which is the Oas celebrates the Himoloan Festival every last week of September. himoloan literally means "pag-atang" or "tinagba" (offering).
This festival commemorates the Patronal Feast of St. Michael the Archangel. Thus, it is the time of the year when the faithful honor their patron by offering him not only material goods but the talents that God bestowed upon all as well.
Its highlight is the Himoloan street presentation and the Carosa contest where in it is participated by the different barangay and is also open to other barangays of other nearby towns to gather and bring the carosa/andas of their patron decorated with their produce as well as native materials found with their reach.

Bikol Pastores
Even before Christmas is celebrated by Filipinos today, Bikol Pastores was already a Bikolano's commemoration of Christmas. A musical reenactment of the nativity, the Pastores, a folk festival held in Legaspi City on the third week of December. it is a celebration of Christmas tradition where children clad in colorful costumes, sing their own compositions that interpret the shepherds who sang the first carols and rejoice for the birth of the Christ in Bethlehem.
Pastores is aa spanish word which means shepperds, small groups of four to twelve children, dominantly young girls occasionally with young boy of two.
The Pastores is done with an entourage of traditional musicians while people dance to the tone of Pastores in Belen in the streets and Christmas cheers are all over the town.

The province of Albay is one of the places in Southern Luzon and in Bicol Region who is not only rich in natural resources like Mayon Volcano but also in culture and traditions that marks them as Albayanos.

Lambat Festival in Pio Duran, Albay
Every places in Albay celebrates festivals which is one reason why some tourists visit the area. in the Municipality of Pio Duran, every first week of the month of December, a festival is being celebrated. it is the Lambat Festival in honoring the patron saint Nuestra SeƱora de Salvacion.
The people of Pio Duran was really active in attending the activities for the festival. some shows were organized by the Local Government Unit like street presentation, bikini pageants, beer plaza and many more. it has also the Mutya ng Lambat that i, myself had experienced to join and with great effort, I won as Ms. Tourism.
Tourist in other places really enjoy the event, except of the occasion, they also love the place because of its beautiful beaches ad views.
Lambat Festival not only help in promoting tourism in the place but also making the people of Pio Duran be socially active to participate in the occasion.
