Every places in Albay celebrates festivals which is one reason why some tourists visit the area. in the Municipality of Pio Duran, every first week of the month of December, a festival is being celebrated. it is the Lambat Festival in honoring the patron saint Nuestra Señora de Salvacion.
The people of Pio Duran was really active in attending the activities for the festival. some shows were organized by the Local Government Unit like street presentation, bikini pageants, beer plaza and many more. it has also the Mutya ng Lambat that i, myself had experienced to join and with great effort, I won as Ms. Tourism.
Tourist in other places really enjoy the event, except of the occasion, they also love the place because of its beautiful beaches ad views.
Lambat Festival not only help in promoting tourism in the place but also making the people of Pio Duran be socially active to participate in the occasion.
